Melon with feta and basil

Melon with feta and basil is a refreshing starter, ideal for summer when watermelons are ripe and delicious. I tell you how to recognise a ripe melon when you buy it in the report on melons. 3.8 is Watermelon Day in the USA.

Ingredients

for 4 persons

1 small melon approx. 1 kg
200 g feta
6 stalks of basil

Cut the melon into slices about 1.5-2 cm thick, cut off the rim and then cut into cubes.

Arrange the melon cubes on plates, sprinkle with feta and scatter the plucked basil leaves on top.
