Blanco de verano – refreshing wine spritzer is similar to Tinto de verano, a mixture of wine and lemonade. It’s best to use Gaseosa, which you can get in any supermarket in Spain. Here in Germany, you can get the old lemonade. This is better than Sprite. You can also add the juice of a lemon.
Ingredients
1 bottle of white wine
1 bottle of lemonade (Gaseosa)
optional vermouth
some melon or lemon
a few mint leaves
Put some melon or 2 lemon slices and a few mint leaves or lemon balm leaves into a carafe of about 1.5 litres,
Fill up with white wine and the lemonade. If you like it more intense, add a dash of vermouth.
Chill the Blanco de verano
Serve
Serve the Blanco de verano with ice cubes in the glass, in the carafe and additionally in a bowl to take away. Pair with tapas, grilled food and a nice evening out.
