Alabama White Sauce – BBQ sauce

Alabama White Sauce – BBQ sauce does not always have to be dark red, as you can clearly taste with this delicious sauce. Alabama White Sauce goes well with beef, pork, chicken, fish and shrimp. I have not yet tried it with lamb. It’s also a delicious alternative to vegetables for your BBQ event. Not only visually!

Ingredients

100 g mayonnaise
50 g sour cream
30 ml apple vinegar
2 tsp horseradish
3 cloves of garlic
2 tsp sugar
1/4 lime juice
a few dashes of Worcester sauce
pepper and salt

Peel and press the garlic, squeeze the lime and mix everything into a sauce. You can vary the quantities according to your taste. White wine vinegar is used in many recipes. I find that apple cider vinegar has a better kick!

Leave to stand in the fridge for 4 hours.

Serve

Fill the Alabama White Sauce into small bowls, decorate with a parsley leaf and place on the table.
