Yoghurt bread from the pan, a quickly prepared and very simple recipe that goes very well with dips, salads and as a side dish with grilled meat.
The yoghurt bread is somewhat similar to naan and the Hungarian flat bread langos.
Ingredients
200 g yoghurt
200 ml warm water
10 g packet of baking powder
450 g flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Mix well and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Roll out on a floured work surface and divide into 8 equal pieces.
Flatten each piece of dough in turn with your hand.
The dough must not be too thin or too thick, otherwise it will not rise properly. Drain the finished patties in a sieve and leave to cook in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Serve the yoghurt bread
Serve while still warm with salads or curries. You can also fill them like naan or pita. Also tastes wonderful with tzatziki.
