Melon with feta and olive oil is a refreshing appetiser in summer when the watermelons are ripe and delicious. How to recognise a ripe melon when you buy it is explained in more detail in the report on melons.

Ingredients
for 4 persons
1 small melon approx. 1 kg
200 g feta
2-3 tsp oregano
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Cut the melon into slices approx. 1.5-2 cm thick, cut off the rim and then cut into cubes.
Arrange the melon cubes on plates, sprinkle with feta and scatter the plucked basil leaves on top.
